How To Take Care Of Your Trade Show Graphics

If you're a company that is trying to get exposure for your product, you might have a full calendar of trade shows over the next few months. This is an excellent opportunity for you to speak directly to your target audience about your product. However, these trade shows might initially take a toll financially on your company, because the cost of renting a space, paying people to work the space and decorating the space is so high. Being able to reuse graphics is one easy way to make sure that you keep the cost of your trade show exhibits under control. To reuse your graphics, you want to be certain that you take good care of them. Here are some tips for making sure that they stay nice.

1. Use the Right Mounting Materials

The first step is to use the right mounting materials. You don't want to use any materials that could possibly damage the graphics, such as tape, nails, or pins. Instead, consider renting or purchasing metal display boards and magnet sets. These display sets contain a board that you order to fit one graphic and at least four magnets that are used to hold each corner of the graphic in place. When you're done, you simply remove the magnets, snap them together, and store them for later use. The graphic is not harmed at all.

2. Store Your Graphic Well Between Exhibitions

The next thing that you are going to need to do is make sure that you store your graphic well in-between trade show exhibitions. The easiest way to do this is to use poster tubes, which can be purchased at hobby stores or online. All you have to do is take your graphic and carefully roll it up so that it fits in the cardboard or plastic tube and then cover it with the lid. The tube will keep the graphic from being crushed or folded. When you need to use the graphic again, all you have to do is take it out of the tube the night before and lay it on a flat surface with items heavy enough to hold it down on each corner. This will flatten out the graphics so that they can easily be used again.

3. Keep Your Graphics Away From the Floor

Whenever you are displaying your graphics, you want to make sure that you keep them away from the floor. If you have a hanging banner, have the bottom of it fall at the level of an average person's knees or higher in order to make sure that people notice when they bump into it and increase the chances of them moving away, rather than damaging it.
